As of November 8th, we almost have a complete roof! We just returned from the islands, to find the house dried in, with 90% of the shingles on. Hunting season in Montana seems to steal our sub contractors…
The most exciting news is that the turret is on the house! I got to walk into the upper (secret) room, and it was simply awesome! The staircase with its arched windows is spectacular. I love this house- and a big part of it is the staircase and the turret. My granddaughter calls it the Princess tower… and the little girl in me understands why. 🙂
During the last 2 weeks, the plumbing, electrical and HVAC have been 80% completed. Just another day or two and all of these trades will be finished. Then comes the insulation and the exterior sheeting of the house.
