How to Get to Glacier Bear Retreat
Fly to FCA – Kalispell: Plan your trip to arrive at Glacier Park International Airport (about 35 minutes away). Delta flies nonstop from Salt Lake City and Minneapolis year round, and nonstop from Atlanta and Los Angeles seasonally. Alaska/Horizon flies nonstop from Seattle and Portland. United arrives nonstop from Denver and seasonally from Chicago and San Francisco as well. Allegiant Air flies nonstop seasonally into FCA from Oakland and from Las Vegas – and has great rates too. Rental cars are available from various national companies such as Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Dollar and National. See iflyglacier.com for a current list of connected airports.
Fly/Drive from GEG – Spokane: For those that are fans of Southwest Airlines, you can fly into Spokane, Washington and then drive 5 hours to reach Glacier Bear Retreat.
Take Amtrak to West Glacier: Amtrak has excellent service right into West Glacier, just 2 miles from the property. Their route, called the Empire Builder, connects from Chicago to Seattle. Once you arrive, we’re happy to pick you up and bring you to the property from the train station, then bring you back to the train for your return trip home.
